Job Description

Hey there! 👋 Looking for an exciting admin role?



Join our awesome team at AROHATA WOMEN'S PRISON in Wellington! We're on the hunt for an enthusiastic Administrative Support Officer to keep things running smoothly.



What you'll be doing:



  • Providing admin support to various teams

  • Handling phone calls and filing

  • Arranging AVLs

  • Checking prisoner mail and property

  • Data entry and other general admin tasks



What we're looking for:



  • Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office suite)

  • Previous admin experience

  • Excellent communication skills

  • High attention to detail

  • Great time management

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality

  • Team player who can also work independently

  • A positive 'can-do' attitude! 😊



This is a part-time gig (20 hours per week) from Monday to Friday. You'll be based inside the prison, so be prepared for a unique work environment!
